Client Testimonials

I started volunteering in the New 2 You store in Rockwood. I love meeting with the people there and also the staff, who were helpful and welcoming. While volunteering there, I overheard Darcy, struggling to get drivers to take seniors to their appointments. So I decided that maybe I should be helping out locally since there was an obvious need… In the years that I drove for EWCS, I met so many interesting people and love listening to their stories. I honestly believe I got as much out of the driving as they did getting driven. There were times when I should have been thanking them and not the other way around. In recent years I developed MS and then cancer, which I’m glad to say is now clear. So I had to give up the store and the driving. I’m now using the driving service myself and I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate it.
